Here at Foundation Telecommunications, Inc, we're determined to help bring broadband Internet to every un-served or underserved citizen of the United States who lives in rural or urban areas. The recently approved American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) asserts that Internet access for all is imperative to making this country more self-reliant, resilient to tough economic conditions and ready to face the challenges of the 21st century.
The purpose of this section of our site is to provide you with easy access to an array of online tools that will help you determine: how you can help those in need, and if there's a need for satellite technology in implementing your plans, how FTI can help. Click Here for more Information.

Your town is a complex web of technology needs, from emergency services, power and water resource control, and voice and data communications at all points within your borders, to working with surrounding communities, counties and states to ensure your community keeps on thriving. FTI has worked with numerous communities over the years, often through local communications providers who help the communities make sense of broadband satellite, and oversee the installation and operations, or directly with the community IT directors. FTI can provide backhaul to community Wifi and WIMAX infrastructure, broadband backup to fiber connections, and mobile solutions for emergency mobile command posts. Our trailer solution can be parked, deployed, and providing Wifi and voice command center services, regardless of the level of devastation, immediately. Many communities are implementing SCADA devices to monitor and control energy and water resources. For communities where wire or wireless applications are not possible, data transmission via satellite just makes sense.
If your facility does not have access to high speed broadband
communications, you are eligible to receive government grants that will
pay to update your current broadband access or lack thereof.
Why does our facility need high speed broadband communication access?
Due to the emergence of electronic medical records and the movement of a
paper-free healthcare system in America.
According to ABC news, President Obama has been quoted in saying the
government will push for electronic health records for all Americans
within five years in order to save both dollars and lives.
The ARRA provides your medical facility with the opportunity to use
government funds to prepare for the future healthcare.
FTI provides high-speed satellite broadband communications anywhere in the continental US, Hawaii, and parts of Alaska. No matter where your facility is located, we can provide broadband access fast – typically within 10 days via a 2.4 or 3.1 meter satellite dish. Whereas with a terrestrial line, you will have to wait months maybe even years to lay enough fiber optic cable to connect to high-speed broadband.
FTI has applied for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and its allocation of $7.2 billion for the deployment of broadband infrastructure, among other things. ARRA is truly a watershed event in the rural telecommunications industry, providing capital to extend the reach of vital access to broadband. FTI has one of the longest histories of managing and operating wireless broadband networks in rural and underserved markets. /p>
In addition, FTI's management has significant experience in building, operating and financing growth telecommunications companies. As a result, our management believes that FTI is uniquely positioned to meet the needs of the Federal Government in its broadband stimulus efforts. FTI is in the process of partnering with certain critical community facilities and anchors in connection with its ARRA funding initiatives. Those that may qualify include, but are not limited to: libraries, hospitals, clinics, schools and community centers.
