Once your network is in place, FTI uses state-of-the-art monitoring capabilities at both our Satellite Network Operations Center (NOC) and Home Office, to proactively manage a wide range of network activity, settings and conditions in real time. Our comprehensive management tools enable us to monitor the status of your network, perform network upgrades and conduct other operations, 24x7.
The network will be electronically monitored in it’s entirety on a 24/7 basis. The hub based monitoring programs detect any changes in the operation of the links between the hub and the remote sites and any changes in the links between the FTI satellite gateway to the nodes and access points. In most instances, changes in trends can be remedied remotely from the FTI Transponder Operations Center.
All sites will be remotely monitored 24x7 by iDirect’s industry-leading iVantage® Network Management System (NMS). This is a complete suite of software-based tools to configure, monitor and control an entire satellite network from single or multiple locations. iVantage™ consists of three major components: iBuilder™, iMonitor™ and iSite™.
FTI ensures our complete network continually operates at peak efficiency. The iMonitor monitoring software provides in-depth views into both real-time and historical performance of the network including the health status of remotes, graphical displays, network probes and detailed bandwidth usage.
Remote satellite network control is accomplished by the iSite software. iSite remote commissioning tool facilitates deployment of new sites quickly by providing universal local access to configure and control iDirect devices from the field, including all iDirect remotes and network accelerators. Advanced features include auto-discovery of iDirect devices on the same LAN and audio feedback during antenna pointing.

All “standard business day maintenance” will be conducted remotely on a 24/7 basis as problems are detected. All on-site “standard business day maintenance” will be conducted during 8 AM to 5 PM in the local time zone.

at peak performance. Via a cutting-edge, customizable web interface, FTI
can offer a unified view into the performance of thousands of nodes and
interfaces on the network, all from a single web page.
